Jason is the founding member of Wallace and has an extensive proven track record in the acquisition, promotion, and delivery of strategic land projects and developments. As a qualified town planner, he has held such positions as Director of Strategic Developments and Managing Director for two major house-building companies. Jason’s 25-year career spans the management of many residential and mixed-use developments across Scotland and England. These range from 25 unit housing sites to major urban expansions of over 1,500 homes that include retail, commercial, leisure, community facilities and schools.
Iain is a shareholder and investor in Wallace through his company Granfit Holdings Ltd. Having worked for over 30 years as a solicitor specialising in development work, he has a detailed knowledge of deal structures and how to maximise the return for landowners. Funding for deals when required is provided by Granfit Holdings Limited the principal company in a group founded in 1881. Iain manages the group which over the years has built up and invested in manufacturing and property businesses across the UK.
As Head of Land & Planning for Wallace, Alex is responsible for overseeing the management of the regional offices’ land and planning functions, working as an integral part of the regional teams. Highly experienced in land acquisition and the planning promotion of development proposals, Alex can readily identify the potential of a land asset and has a proven track record of delivering maximum value through both the Scottish and English planning systems for landowners. Alex holds a degree in City & Regional Planning, and is an RTPI Chartered Town Planner.
Lewis is a Senior Strategic Land and Planning Manager operating in the South East of England specialising in securing promotion agreements, Development Plan allocations and planning consents for residential and mixed-use developments. As a Chartered Planning & Development Surveyor he has operated as an Immediate and Strategic Land Buyer for a major house-builder situated within the South East. With extensive relationships throughout the planning and development industry, Lewis is well placed to secure new opportunities and planning consents to release the hidden value in our clients' land. Lewis holds a BSc (Hons) in Planning & Development from Nottingham Trent University.
Pete is a Senior Strategic Planning Manager operating in Scotland, the Midlands and North West England specialising in securing promotion agreements, Development Plan allocations and planning consents for residential and mixed-use developments. With over 15 years’ experience in planning consultancy advising land owners, developers and occupier clients, Pete has been involved in the promotion and management of residential and mixed use development proposals ranging from 100 unit housing sites to larger residential led expansions and strategic schemes of 1,000 residential units. Pete is well placed to set out strategic land promotion strategies in order to secure allocations and consents. Pete holds an MA (Hons) in Town & Country Planning from Heriot Watt University and is RTPI Chartered Town Planner.
Susie joined Wallace as our in-house legal advisor responsible for the provision of legal services, including the negotiation of our promotion agreements and sale contracts. Susie undertakes legal work herself and co-ordinates delivery of legal services by other solicitor firms. Her career spans more than 30 years as a solicitor dealing with all forms of development, with particular expertise in residential development. She has worked with both national house-builders and landowners. Susie holds an LL.B (Hons) degree from the University of Glasgow.
Stuart joined Wallace as a Land and Planning Assistant in May 2018 after graduating from Heriot-Watt University with a BSc (Hons) degree in Urban Planning & Property Development. During his degree, Stuart obtained over 18 months' work experience assisting the production of planning policy and assessing planning applications in local government town planning offices during summer placements and a sandwich year. Stuart is responsible for supporting the identification of land opportunities and strategic site searches by monitoring current land, planning policy and housing supply situations.
Joe joined Wallace as a Land and Planning Assistant in August 2018 after graduating from Royal Holloway, University of London with a BA (Hons) in Geography. Joe is responsible for supporting the identification of land opportunities and strategic site searches by monitoring current land, planning policy and housing supply situations.
Rachael joined Wallace as a Land & Planning Assistant in June 2019 after graduating from Heriot-Watt University with a BSc (Hons) degree in Urban Planning & Property Development. She is responsible for supporting the identification of land opportunities and strategic site searches by monitoring current land, planning policy and housing situations.
As Personal Assistant / Office Manager, Bridget provides comprehensive administrative and operational business support to the owners and all staff across three regional offices. Bridget's experience ranges across a variety of sectors including public sector and architectural services. She holds an MArtCur degree from the University of Melbourne.
